Tender Description
Balranald Shire Council is seeking Tenders from appropriately qualified and experienced contractors for the construction of a 15-unit expansion to the Bidgee Haven Aged Care Hostel in Mayall Street, Balranald.
The services to be provided under this RFT include construction of the following:
- A new 15 bed dementia specific wing comprising 15 single rooms with ensuite, and fitout of the rooms.
- Remodelled Hostel kitchen including walk in cool room and walk in pantry
- Dining rooms and Lounge rooms
- New dedicated activities room
- Refurbished laundry and Pan Room
- Ancillary works such as alterations to the existing secure fencing
The works must comply with Class 9c of the Building Code of Australia and relevant residential aged care accreditation requirements.
