Expressions of Interest - Canteen Operation
Rockingham Senior High School seeks an innovative and resourceful business owner to operate the school canteen under a License agreement in line with the Commercial Tenancy (Retail Shops) Agreement Act 1985. The successful business will offer healthy food and drink options for the students and staff at specified break times, as well as the opportunity for provision of additional catering at school events.

Operation may commence from 28 April 2020, however if this is not deemed achievable an alternative timeline may be considered.
The business will comply with the Department of Education’s Healthy Food and Drink Policy and Criminal Screening Policy, in addition to utilising environmentally conscious practises in packaging and waste control.

The school offers a substantially discounted licence fee. The school currently has an enrolment of approximately 1080 students and a staff of 120 on any day, many of whom would potentially utilise the canteen services.
A site tour will be available upon request to view the canteen.
Expressions of interest in writing outlining suitability to operate the canteen as per the Department of Education’s requirements, including sample menu and prices, and completion of Expression of Interest Application from are to be submitted.
