Tender Description
The Western Sydney Regional Organisation of Councils Ltd. is seeking proposals for a suitably experienced and qualified consultancy, or a consortium, to develop the Cool Suburbs project.
The Cool Suburbs project aims to address the issue of urban heat by developing a voluntary tool, predominantly for planners and developers, which identifies the most appropriate interventions (mitigation, adaptation, and response) that will contribute to cooling a place.
The project will use research and stakeholder engagement to design a user-friendly tool. The project will identify the best engagement process to assist users through the process and maximise tool use.
This RFQ seeks a consultancy to deliver:
- Science translation - literature review
- Prototype and roadmap development
- Awareness raising and buy-in
- Design and build the tool.
- Pilot the tool.
WSROC would welcome consortia or partnership arrangements to deliver the different project components.
