Ballance is releasing a Request for Proposal (RFP) to identify two suitably qualified contractors to partner with Ballance Agri-Nutrients (BAN) in an Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) process for the Front End Engineering Design (FEED) phase of their Whangarei Hub Development project. It is anticipated that the successful respondents will work alongside Ballance's project team during the FEED phase to help us deliver on our project outcomes of creating a facility that is fit for purpose, future proofed and delivers on the projects overall objectives of quality outcomes and value for money.

On completion of the FEED phase each contractor will be asked to build a competitively priced bid based on their innovative design and, where advantageous to the outcome of the project, utilise BAN approved suppliers. BAN will select the preferred option of the two bids and use this to seek BAN board approval to move into the design and construction phase. Pending Board approval BAN will look to negotiate with the preferred party with the view to awarding a detail design and construct contract.
