INVITATION TO TENDER - ITT 15/2020 North Rocks Road at Alkira Road, Carlingford - Road Widening, Traffic Signal Installation and Associated Works

ABOUT THE COUNCIL:
The City of Parramatta Council is located 24 kilometres west of the Sydney CBD and provides a range of goods and services within a local government area (LGA) encompassing some 82 square kilometres and comprises a population of approximately 230,000 people from a range of diverse cultures, lifestyles and experiences

ABOUT THE TENDER:
Tenders are invited from experienced civil engineering contractors having expertise in installation of Traffic control signals (TCS) for road widening for traffic improvement. The project involves the creation of a dedicated right turn lane on North Rocks Road for westbound traffic and installation of TCS at the intersection, and removing the existing TCS west of Alkira Road including associated works.

The Tender price is for a fixed lump sum.
A final decision will be made on this Tender mid November 2020, with works anticipated to commence January 2021. Please note, currently no pre-tender meeting is proposed for this project. However if need arises for one after site visit by prospective Tenderers to confirm 'scope of work', it can be arranged.
