Tender Description
The aim of this tender is to design and construct a new Tramway Museum and upgrade the immediate surrounds including the pathway connections. The works include but are not limited to the provision of all labour, materials, plant and equipment necessary for the supply and complete installation of all general requirements inclusive of all necessary accessories required to complete the work. The new extension will include on the ground floor a large tramcar display area with inset tram tracks to enable new tramcars to be positioned inside the building and removed if required, an entry airlock and link corridor between the existing and new building for all weather access and additional display area a front of house merchandise entry area with kiosk a ticket sales integrated with a tram body, two kitchens, amenities including cleaners room, enclosed exhibition space, sufficient storage space with shelving and on the first floor a staff room, storage space, toilet, file storage, office, kitchenette and meeting room.
Registered and suitably experienced Commercial Building Practitioners are invited to submit for the construction of the BTM Museum Extension in the South Gardens of the Ballarat Botanical Gardens.
