Tender Description
In Jan/Feb 2021 the DHB intends to launch a tender for Hospital Facilities Services. The tender will result in award of contract(s) with service start date(s) around 1Q 2022. The service lines included in the tender are:
- Cleaning;
- Orderlies/Security;
- Food services (patient meals, meals on wheels, cafe, catering);
- Grounds Maintenance;
- Pest control;
- Hygiene services;
- Contract management as a service.
Suppliers will be able to submit tender responses for one, or more, of the proposed service lines.We are also open to suppliers responding or collaborating together across a range of service lines.
In this tender the DHB will be looking for credible suppliers who can offer high quality services that have a proven track record delivering similar services within a healthcare context. It is important that the DHB is supporting Broader Outcomes in improving conditions for New Zealand Workers and increasing access for New Zealand Business.
The tender process will include site orientation, interactive briefings and site tours so that respondents are well informed.
