Tender Description
CS Energy Limited and its subsidiaries (CS Energy) is a Queensland Government owned energy provider. Kogan Creek Mine (KCM) is owned by Aberdare Collieries Pty Ltd (Aberdare), a wholly owned subsidiary of CS Energy.
KCM is a low strip ratio open cut mine producing between 2.2mtpa to 3mtpa as required by Kogan Creek Power Station (KCPS) located approximate 2.2km from KCM.
KCM is a truck and shovel operation with coal mined selectively on a ply basis and blended for supply to KCPS.
CS Energy is looking for Expression of Interest from the market to provide the following services:
- Mining Activities for provision of up to 3mtpa of coal at specification to the Kogan Creek Power Station.
- Completion of required rehabilitation works within the Mining Area,
- Completion of key infrastructure works including water management (levies and dams) and ash disposal structure
