The Victorian Managed Insurance Authority (VMIA) is planning to undertake a procurement process for the provision of Reinsurance Broking and Placement Services. At this stage, it is anticipated that an Invitation to Supply (ITS) will be released on the Buying for Victoria Supplier Portal (formerly Tenders VIC) in late September or early October 2020. It is anticipated that the delivery of services will commence in late December 2020.

There are three broad categories of service for which VMIA is seeking. This includes, but may not be limited to:

• Reinsurance Strategy Design and Placement Services
• General Broking Service and Advice
• Risk Management Services

The service provider must be an ASIC licensed General Insurance Broker.

Potential respondents are advised that the Victorian Local Jobs First Policy and Social Procurement Framework may apply to this Invitation to Supply.
