Council requires the services of a suitably diligent, expert and capable contractor to carry out and complete the safe removal of ACM and a range of associated tasks.

The works and services required by the Agreement comprise the following:

•  the management of the removal of ACM as and when required by the Council;
•  arranging for the safe sample collection, transport and testing of suspect material to determine if it is ACM with provision of testing result to the Council;
•  safe removal of Type A and Type B asbestos located in buildings, workplaces and other structures and facilities as advised by Council,
•  safe collection, packaging, transportation and disposal of suspected and actual ACM; and
•  making safe areas (seal) where ACM is located but is not to be removed.
