Tender Description
Victoria Legal Aid (VLA) is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified consultant(s) to develop and oversee the monitoring and evaluation for VLAs Specialist Family Violence Courts Legal Practice and Resourcing and Allocations Model.
In 2018-19, the State Government funded VLA to provide legal services at the five Specialist Family Violence Courts (SFVC) sites on an ongoing basis. The implementation of the SFVCs provides the opportunity to improve the way family violence legal services are provided to clients, by contributing to the design of a new SFVC legal practice model. This project will determine the best practice framework for how family violence legal services should be provided, as well as determining and allocating resources to deliver these services in a way that is effective, efficient and financially sustainable.
We are looking to work with the consultant/s to partner with us from the beginning of the project, to develop and lead the implementation of an appropriate monitoring and evaluation system, that will feed into a rigorous mid-term review and useful final evaluation. It is crucial that a rigorous mid-term review and final evaluation is conducted to critically assess the efficiency, effectiveness, and appropriateness of the SFVC legal practice model. The purpose of the final evaluation is to assess how successful the SFVC legal practice model was in achieving the identified objectives, identify contributing factors for success, barriers, and elements of the Model that could be effectively scaled.
