Cladding Safety Victoria is a department within the Victorian Building Authority (VBA) established in July 2019.

The VBA has tasked Cladding Safety Victoria with the implementation of the Cladding Rectification Program

In the near future, Cladding Safety Victoria will be inviting responses from suitably qualified and experienced building surveyors who are registered on the Construction Supplier Register (CSR) for the provision of building surveying services to the Cladding Rectification Program.

It is estimated that this tender will not be released prior to the 26 October 2020.

Please note that evidence of application to the CSR will be a mandatory requirement for acceptance of tender responses, and evidence of application from the Department of Treasury and Finance will be required to be provided.

Suppliers interested in this opportunity should register on the CSR https://www.dtf.vic.gov.au/construction-supplier-register/applying-pre-qualification-construction-supplier-register to be invited to take part in this procurement process. Cladding Safety Victoria will not correspond with interested suppliers outside the official procurement process.

State Critical Infrastructure

Please be advised the Cladding Rectification Program has been identified as a 'State Critical Infrastructure Project’ and will continue to operate in accordance with the Construction sector guidance regarding COVID-19. Respondents will be required to provide COVIDSafe and High Risk COVID plans as part of the tender process. Other specific safety requirements may apply.
