Tender Description
Sport Integrity Australia is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified providers to be part of a list providing independent investigative services to sport. Providers will be responsible for planning and conducting investigations into sports integrity matters, in line with sport policies, in a professional, ethical and effective manner and in accordance with legislative requirements and best practice methodologies. While Sport Integrity Australia will maintain the list, providers will be selected and directly engaged by sporting organisations.
Providers will work at the direction of sport (or their delegate) to perform a wide range of investigative functions in accordance with the principles of the Australian Government Investigation Standards. This may include, but not be limited to:
• taking witness and complainant statements
• conducting in-person interviews with athletes and support persons
• desktop research
• reviewing transcripts
• preparing investigation reports
• drafting recommendations in line with the relevant sport policy.
Expressions of interest outlining you/your organisations services, skills, knowledge, experience, achievements and cost structure will be assessed by Sport Integrity Australia. Providers deemed suitable will form a list to be provided to sport on an as-needs basis.
Interested candidates must forward a 2 page pitch addressing suitability against the criteria by COB Friday, 23 October 2020.
