QRA requires a Technical Adviser to join the Program Delivery Division (PDD). The PDD is responsible for the delivery of best practice grants management which includes: eligibility, commercial, technical, delivery monitoring (including cost, schedule and risk), reporting and acquittals. The Technical Adviser will provide advice on the delivery of Natural Disaster Relief and Recovery Arrangements (NDRRA), Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA) and other State or joint State/Commonwealth funded programs.

Contract will be full-time for 12 months from 7 December 2020 (or as soon as possible thereafter) with optional extensions. Based in Brisbane CBD with a requirement for travel throughout Qld.l

Successful candidate will require a degree in Civil/Structural Engineering; Experience of: Disaster Management; Stakeholder Management; Cost Interpretation; Program Management; Contract Management. Non-Mandatory requirements will include experience of NDRRA/DRFA and stakeholder management withiin indigenous communities.

Role will be open to Recruiters and Engineering companies. Companies must have an ABN.Professional Indemnity of Public Liability Insurance of $10M per occurance is required plus WorkCover (where applicable).

Role will be released late October/early November.
