Expression of Interest

Tasmanian Irrigation are the responsible entity for the management of the Welcome River Riverworks District and the Montagu Catchment River Improvement District.

To assist TI in management of the districts, Expressions of the Interest are sought for the following package of work,

Annual scoping and supervision of works to maintain the drainage channels and the access tracks.

a.) The scoping of works requires working with the district landowners, arranging access, inspecting the channels and access pathways, agreeing the scope of works including weed management activities with the landowners through the community consultative committees and summarising the scope in sufficient details to enable pricing by contractors.

Scoping is required to be completed by 31st December.

b.) Supervision of contractors in performing the scope works defined above. Supervision includes ensuring that contractors perform the works responsibly and, as per the scope, and in accordance with their safety and environmental management plan.

Interested parties are required to provided the following:

i. Schedule of rated (including details of escalation)
ii. Details of previous relevant experience (case studies and references)
iii. Resumes for key individuals
iv. Examples of safety and environmental management plans

The successful parties will be awarded a contract for 3 years with the potential for extending to 5 years based on satisfactory performance.
