Overview Epic Energy is the owner and operator of two high-pressure gas transmission pipelines system based in South Australia. These comprise the Moomba to Adelaide Pipeline System (MAPS) and the South Eastern Pipeline System (SEPS) located in South Eastern of South Australia. As part of integrity and general maintenance requirements, the pipeline system requires direct examination of potential defects, and associated repair works.

This tender seeks responses from appropriate contractors to conduct these activities which includes excavation, pipeline direct examination activities, and other civil related activities. You are invited to provide a quotation for the provision of services for Epic Energy's pipeline systems in accordance with this letter and the enclosed Request for Tender documents ("RFT"). Objective The objective of this tender is to enter into an agreement with a defined number of experienced and competent contractors to complete the direct inspection scope of work on behalf of Epic Energy. This work will form defined campaigns (multiple direct examination) on different segments of our pipeline. The nature of the work is that the exact scope and number of direct examinations cannot be determined in advance, and as such, campaigns will be put together and assigned under an agreed schedule of rates. The agreement is targeted to run for three years. Epic Energy is considering two engagement types depending on the offerings from tenderers. Minimum guaranteed spend per financial year of $400k per successful responder. Basic SOR with no guaranteed minimum spend. In addition to the base component of direct examination works, the agreement will cover the engagement of other pipeline civil related activities to be completed by the successful Contractors.
