Tender Description
Diocesan Project and Property Services, on behalf of Newman Catholic College, invites appropriately qualified builders to submit their registration of interest to tender on the construction of Newman Catholic College, Stage 1.
The project consists of a new four storey building with a total floor area of approximately 4,500m2. Builders must demonstrate their experience in the following criteria in their Expression of Interest:
• Capacity to undertake projects in excess of $15,000,000.00
• Proven track record of delivering medium to large scale education facility projects on, or ahead of schedule.
• Management of a construction site within a busy operational campus, with multiple stakeholders.
• Proactive approach to working with consultants and client to deliver the best outcome for the project.
• An established North Queensland base, with a commitment to sourcing locally based suppliers and contractors.
Tender documents will be released to selected builders in early November 2020, with tenders closing in early December 2020.
Construction is planned to commence January 2021.
Registrations should address the above critical criteria and include the QBCC licence details, portfolio of recent projects, project referees, and CV’s of key personnel.
