Council is seeking expressions of interest from Whyalla residents and animal support groups who would like to become a member of the Whyalla Animal Management Advisory Group.
Council has decided that an Advisory Group be formed, consisting of Council representatives Whyalla City animal related enterprises and the general community.
The role of the Advisory Group will be review and update the current Whyalla Animal Management Plan for recommendations and adoption of the Council.
The Advisory Group would benefit from having members that understand the needs of dogs and cats within the City of Whyalla to ensure a complete and robust management plan for the City.
If you have any skills in the above areas and would like to be part of thus inaugural group, then Council is keen to hear from you.
