Goulburn Valley Health (GVH) is a public owned regional hospital located in Shepparton, Victoria as established under the Health Services Act 1988 (Vic). GVH is a multi-campus facility providing a broad range of hospital and community services throughout the Hume Region. The Shepparton campus, located at Graham Street Shepparton has 266 beds providing acute medical, surgical, obstetrics, paediatrics, rehabilitation, psychiatric and intensive coronary care.

GVH currently has four (4) new operating theatres that were delivered as part of the Redevelopment in 2020, and three (3) old theatres that are scheduled to be refurbished in 2021.

The health service is seeking responses to this Invitation to Supply for the supply of laparoscopic tower equipment as outlined in Part A.2 – Specifications.

This tender scope covers GVH’s immediate laparoscopic requirements for use in its new operating theatres and the future requirements once the old theatres are refurbished as appropriate. This ITS was previously issued as “GVH-LaparoEquip-2019” on the 29/11/2019 however this tender was not awarded. GVH’s laparoscopic equipment requirements has since become more targeted so please refer to the updated technical specification as detailed within this ITS.
