Diocesan Project and Property Services, on behalf of St Mary’s Catholic College, invites appropriately qualified builders to submit their registration of interest to tender on the construction HOB Hall Redevelopment.

The project consists of a major refurbishment and expansion of the College’s Hall to covert it into a 1300+ seating capacity hall, with associated foyer, lecture theatre, music rooms, classrooms and outdoor gathering spaces.

Builders must demonstrate their experience in the following criteria in their Expression of Interest:

• Capacity to undertake projects in excess of $10,000,000.00
• Proven track record of delivering medium to large scale refurbishment projects on, or ahead of schedule
• Management of a construction site within an operational campus and directly adjoining commercial operations
• Proactive approach to working with consultants and client to deliver the best outcome for the project
• An established North Queensland base, with a commitment to sourcing locally based suppliers and contractors

Tender documents will be released to selected builders in early December 2020 with an extended tender period through to 15 January 2021.

Construction is planned to commence February 2021.

Registrations should address the above critical criteria and include the QBCC licence details, portfolio of recent projects, project referees and CV’s of key personnel.
