Tender Description
This proposed sourcing activity will cover the following categories of food and beverage goods:
- Grocery, including dry goods, frozen goods and chilled items
- Dairy products, including milk, yoghurt, custard, creams and cheeses.
- Beverages, such as tea, coffee, milo, juice, water, soft drink and sport drinks
It is estimated that two key agencies, Queensland Health and Queensland Corrective Services (QCS) spend approximately $60M per annum across these sub-categories.
The scope of this proposed sourcing activity does not include:
- Fresh food products (i.e. meat, fruit, vegetables and bakery) and kitchen-wares/consumables are not included in the scope of this sourcing activity.
- The kitchen-wares/consumables are proposed to be addressed separately in due course in order to manage the demands on the supplier market.
