West Moore Island (WMI) is within the Port of Balla Balla Reserve. The Island includes an 8-bedroom accommodation structure and amenities. The accommodation is used from time to time by BBIG employees and their contractors undertaking work on the BBIP. West Moore Island accommodation requires regular inspections and routine maintenance to ensure it is habitable and fit for use when required.
This scope of this service agreement will include:
- Provision of regularly scheduled multi-day visits to WMI to inspect, run, and undertake routine maintenance of the Island facilities.
- Undertake site wide inspections during site visits and reporting on any irregularities, vandalism, illegal dumping, etc.
- Provide accommodation caretaking and maintenance support during BBI use of the accommodation.
The successful contractor will be able to satisfy the below criteria:
- Demonstrated proficient experience undertaking similar roles.
- Have a local Pilbara presence with (or access to), appropriate trade resources to undertake routine maintenance.
- Provision of a suitably sized vessel(s) for transport on and off the island with the ability to support other BBI requirements (transport of gear and personnel).
- Demonstrate HS&E management systems and capacity to meet BBIG minimum HS&E requirements.
