John Holland Rail Pty Ltd (JHR) operates and maintains the assets on the NSW Country Regional Network (CRN) under contract with Transport Asset Holding Entity of New South Wales (TAHE). TAHE has appointed Transport for NSW (TfNSW) as its agent with respect to the CRN and TfNSW manages the JHR contract.

On behalf of Transport for NSW, John Holland Rail requests non-binding Expressions of Interest ('EOI') Reponses from interested parties for the potential occupation and/or future adaptive reused of the former Station Masters Residence in Bathurst NSW.

Background:
Transport for NSW on behalf of TAHE has identified the Premises as having the potential to leverage off its location within the Bathurst railway precinct. Bathurst is a country town in the Central Tablelands of NSW and is considered to be the oldest inland European settlement in Australia.

The site is located at the corner of Havannah and Kepple Streets in Bathurst and is within a rich heritage location and provides excellent street frontage and access to one of the town's main streets.

Information Sought:
Transport for NSW envisages that Responses will include details sufficient to assess as a minimum, the suitability and ability of Applicants to obtain and perform any necessary approvals or works to make the site suitable for its intended use. The Applicants suitability for the Premises, the rail precinct and highlight any benefits to the local community your proposal may include by being located within the Premises.
