Scope of Request for Proposal ("RFP")
99 Bikes is seeking proposals for transportation providers for local same day deliveries, between our retail stores and customer locations.
This RFP is separated into two areas addressing two requirements.
Suppliers can respond to one of both parts.
1) Small packages - same day customer delivery
- Small package pick-up from 99 Bikes stores, delivered to customer addresses
- Metro locations across Australia, delivery within 15km radius of 99 Bikes store
- Same day delivery within 2 hours of request
- Technology interface to book pick up
Companies responding to tender to provide:
- Commercial rates
- Service levels (pick up commitment & delivery times)
- National coverage (preferred not essential)
- Experience with other retailers (with multiple locations, in multiple states)
2) Built Bikes - same day customer delivery
- Fully built bicycles pick up from 99 Bikes stores, delivered to customer addresses
- Ability to safely transport bicycles to avoid damage, bulky items weighing 15kg - 25kg.
- Metro locations across Australia, delivery within 15km radius of 99 Bikes store
- Same day delivery within 2 hours of request
- Technology interface to book pick-ups
- Refer to bike dimensions diagram at the end of this document
Companies responding to tender to provide:
- Commercial rates
- Service levels (pick up commitment & delivery times)
- Detail measures to ensure safe delivery of bicycles to avoid damage
- National coverage (preferred not essential)
- Experience with other retailers with multiple locations, in multiple states)
