Expressions of interest are invited from suitably qualified persons from within South Australia who are interested in being appointed to the position of independent chair or independent committee member of the District Council of Kimba Audit Committee.

The Audit Committee monitors compliance by the organisation with proper standards of financial management, and accounting regulations and standards.

Prospective applicants are encouraged to submit their expression of interest against the responsibilities and requirements of an independent chair and independent committee members prescribed in the Audit Committee's Terms of Reference, which are available from Council on request.

Individuals with Local Government experience will be well received.
