Svitzer Darwin provides Terminal & Harbour towage services within the Port of Darwin using 6 tugs with the following characteristics:

•  Stockton, LOA 33.3m, beam 13.86m, working draft 5.5m
•  Macquarie, LOA 33.3m, beam 13.86m, working draft 5.5m
•  Palmerston, LOA 28.2m, beam 12.6m, working draft 5.2m
•  Stokes, LOA 28.2m, beam 12.6m, working draft 5.2m
•  Wyong, LOA 30.63m, beam 10.52m, working draft 4.6m
•  Mataranka, LOA 24m, beam 11.0m, working draft 5.5m

The tugs work 24 hrs a day, 365 days a year, each tug may undertake 1-5 jobs per day depending on shipping requirements
The tugs are currently berthed at 2 locations within the harbour, Svitzer seeks alternative berthing solution(s).
The preferred model would be for a Build Own Operate arrangement with Svitzer being the sole contracted long term tenant of the facility
