EPA Victoria wishes to engage suitably skilled, experienced, qualified and reputable supplier(s) for the supply and delivery of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

In issuing this RFT, EPA seeks to identify suppliers who are:

(a) able to provide PPE required by EPA in the manner as set out in the Part B - Specifications;

(b) able to manufacture items to allow EPA to satisfy the State Government's Locally Manufactured Uniforms and Personal Protective Equipment Policy:

"Local" - The goods must be manufactured within Australia or New Zealand;

"Manufactured" - The goods must substantially transformed (for example, a clothing item must be transformed from fabric to garment through the cut, make and trim process); and

“Able to be locally manufactured" - That there exists in Australia or New Zealand a genuine market and manufacturers who are able to manufacturer the goods;

(c) able to maximise the value for money obtained by EPA;

(d) able to comply with all mandatory requirements; and

(e) comply with EPA Contract Terms and Conditions.

EPA Victoria will select a supplier or panel of suppliers registered on the Ethical Supplier Register. To be on the register, suppliers of textiles, clothing and footwear sector uniforms and personal protective equipment manufactured in Australia must be accredited or in the process of seeking accreditation with Ethical Clothing Australia. Estimated commencement date of contract is July 2021.

Initial contract term is for (3) years plus two (2) one (1) year extensions.
