The key components of the execution phase of this project will be the civil works and associated installation works for the newly designed suite of Street Furniture assets and this RFT is for QMS to go-to-market providing details about the project in order to obtain competitive bids and offers from well-resourced civil Contractors who can demonstrate their capability and capacity to perform the required level of high quality, timely and cost-effective works to add value to a major infrastructure project rollout during the latter part of 2021/early 2022.
ABOUT THE TENDERER:
QMS is one of Australia's leading outdoor media companies and the fastest growing in the region and has a strong presence in the Australian and New Zealand Out-of-Home (OOH) markets.
In February 2020, QMS was acquired by Quadrant Private Equity and this change of ownership enabled the start of a new growth phase for the business. The securing of the City of Sydney Street Furniture agreement was a significant contract win under the new ownership structure and clearly demonstrates the businesses capabilities and desire to grow and focus on winning high quality out of home contracts.

The purpose of this RFT is for QMS to go-to-market with details about the works included in the roll out of street furniture assets in City of Sydney LGA and obtain commercial proposal from different well-resourced and experienced Contractors.
The works will include the undertaking all of the civil and installation works including but not limited to worksite initial permits application, fencing, excavation, utility coordination and installation (water and sewer for toilets), electrical cable trenching and conduit laying, concrete pouring for different types of foundations, asset installation, back filling and final reinstatement of the area matching the finished surface and electrical connection works through the coordination of a nominated ASP.
