The European Space Agency will tender earth works and the implementation of an access road related to the foreseen hosting of the calibration antenna of the BIOMASS mission at the New Norcia Deep Space Ground Station, Lot 11 Great Northern Hwy, Yarawindah WA 6509.

The intended tender will cover the earth works and the preparation of an access road to the area where the calibration antenna shall be erected. Due to the particular requirements of the calibration antenna, an area of approximately 4 ha has to be levelled to obtain a plateau at which the soil down to 1.5 m depth has to be cleared from boulders and rocks larger than 0.5 meter diameter.

This tender has been formally issued (Ref. AO10746 - Title: PROCUREMENT OF EARTHWORKS FOR RHE BIOMASS CALIBRATION TRANSPONDER SITE PREPARATION IN AUSTRALIA).
