The University of Wollongong seeks to engage with appropriately experienced and qualified suppliers to provide online parking systems and infrastructure including:
1. Pay as you go (Pay by phone/plate) technology to supplement the existing ticket machine infrastructure
2. An enforcement software and equipment (licence plate recognition (LPR)) package) for UOW to manage parking enforcement (integrating with virtual permits and general parking management) on the Wollongong and Innovation campuses, and other satellite properties.
3. Parking guidance system for driver information and monitoring purposes
4. Ticketless (LPR) parking for the P1 Wollongong Campus parking station
5. Carpooling systems that may reduce the need for constant staff supervision and monitoring (to provide free parking to a designated area when arriving at the campus with three people).

NOTE: The University anticipates, where practicable, integration with existing systems.
EOI process seeks to elicit information from the Respondents on their capability to supply, install, design, customise, and interface with UOW systems, and provide proven software management systems for permit management, pay by phone technology, parking guidance and Licence Plate Recognition (LPR) systems.
Previous experience offering these systems in the Australian University sector is preferred, although experience in similar setting will be considered.
The University is looking for a holistic and integrated solution to best meet our needs. It is possible that several suppliers may be required to deliver all the outcomes required, although one supplier would be preferred. Submissions should outline previous experience in delivering solutions that integrate with other parties, and with whom the Respondent works. Submissions should outline the Respondent's current services and technology, tailored to UOW's requirements.

At UOW's discretion the successful EOI applicants will be shortlisted. These applicants may be contacted for a demonstration of the technology and infrastructure, and may be requested to participate in a tender process. The tender may include some or all of the services described. Only those who have been shortlisted will be invited to tender.
