Goulburn Mulwaree Council is seeking tenders from prequalified contractors of TfNSW at a R2 and F5 level or equivalent category/level under the National Prequalification System to upgrade the Sydney Road and Common Street Intersection including construction of roundabout and road widening works.
The purpose of this project is to provide fundamental industrial infrastructure to unlock the value and potential of key employment land in the Goulburn Mulwaree Local Government Area (LGA). The project will provide necessary preconditions for private investment in the newly rezoned Common Street industrial area, including the upgrade of Sydney road and Common street intersection through construction of roundabout and widening of roads to facilitate access by vehicles up to B-double classification. Water, sewerage and stormwater services to the area will also be upgraded to accommodate industrial outputs.
