Tender Description
The Murrin Bridge Preschool has recently received approval by the Lachlan Shire Council for their Development Application for Alterations and Additions to their existing facility (DA No. 2020/24). The general scope of works for this project includes:
- Working in a live environment (operational pre-school adjacent to the works)
- Demolition and ground works
- Reinforced concrete and structural steel framed structures
- Multi-discipline services and internal fit out
- External civil and landscaping works
- Refurbishment and new pavilions for childcare and community uses
- New pavilions - 260m2 internal + verandas
- New internal courtyard including playground
- Refurbishment/internal works to existing pavilion - 70m2
As part of the next stage of this multi-stage development, the Murrin Bridge Preschool is now inviting Expressions of Interest from local construction firms who are interested in tendering the head contractor role and who are able to meet the folling demonstrable mandatory requirements:
- Legal entity
- Financial capacity
- Work Health & Safety management
- Environment Management
- Quality Management
- Industrial relations
- Aboriginal Participation
An indicative timetable for the EOI process is as follows:
Expressions of interest close: End April 2021
Evaluation completed: End May 2021
Successful applicants notified: June 2021
RFT documents issued: July 2021
Tenders close: August 2021
Cintract awarded: September 2021
All work under the contract completed : June 2022
