Tender Description
Western Water's Romsey Recycled Water Plant (RWP) treats sewage from Romsey and Lancefield. It produces Class C effluent, all of which is used for irrigation. Western Water owns land immediately south of the Romsey RWP which is currently used as an irrigation site.
This Request for Tender (RFT) is for the Stage 2 upgrade works to expand the Romsey RWP irrigation site located in Romsey, Victoria.
The contract involves the following scope elements:
- An irrigation pump station (22L/s) and two runoff recycle pump stations (10L/s each)
- Recycled water supply and runoff recycle pipelines (PE, sizes vary OD125 to OD225)
- Runoff protection system including a perimeter earthen drainage and runoff collection dam
- Ancillary civil, mechanical and electrical works necessary for the system
The contract will be delivered under a construct only, AS2124 contract.
A site tender briefing will occur on 4 May 2021 at the Romsey RWP (refer to briefing details). The work involves interfacing and reworking of existing assets, thus attendance at the tender briefing is strongly recommended prior to preparing a submission.
