The Kingston District Council invites tenders for the provision of septic tank desludging and disposal services, as well as additional support/ad hoc works.

The tender comprises of two (2) parts, which may be awarded as one (1) contract or in part to separate tenderers:

Section 1: Desludging of Septic Tanks and Disposal of Associated Sludge/Bio-Solids

The services comprise of the labour, plant, tools, equipment, mobilization and all associated requirements (including the disposal of associated sludge) for the desludging of septic tanks at approximately 900 properties on the Community Wastewater Management System (CWMS) in the township of Kingston, on a 4-year rotating cycle.

Section 2: Ongoing Support Services for Ad-hoc and Emergency Works

The services comprise of the labour, plant, tools, equipment, mobilization and all associated requirements (including the disposal of associated sludge) for ad-hoc and emergency pump-outs of Council owned or managed septic tanks, effluent pump stations, flushing of lines or any other works as required, including outside specified working hours.
