This Request for Quotation is for:

• the supply of a range of motorised cleaning equipment items (‘Equipment’) including associated spare parts and consumables. While a single supplier is preferred, Western District Heal Service (WDHS) will consider submissions for the provision of individual items, a combination of individual items or for all items sought through this tender process. WDHS will assess the viability of a maintenance regime with the preferred tenderer(s) as part of the evaluation process.

In addition to an initial purchase of equipment, WDHS may from time to time seek to purchase additional equipment from the appointed Contractor(s) in accordance with the agreed pricing in the contract. WDHS does not guarantee either a minimum purchase of any equipment or in relation to any of the contracted components, or any particular mix of the contracted components contained in any resulting contract.

This project will effectively be funded through the proposed gains as of a result of an increase in staff productivity through the use of new equipment and the standardisation of equipment across the various WDHS sites. The project is expected to be completed across multiple financial year periods and is expected to include a combination of purchases through line of supply arrangements (with the resulting Contractor(s)) and additional quotation processes.
