Tender Description

Dosimeter

The dosimeter system shall provide the ability to measure, record and alert operators to their radiation exposure in an emergency situation. The levels of radiation encountered may be in excess of the limits of radiation meters used for industrial purposes. The System is expected to be worn on the operator.

Requirements

The System shall be Man-Packable
The System shall measure and notify an operator of dose equivalent rates from radiation sources
The System shall measure X-rays and gamma rays with an energy range between 50 keV to 1.3 MeV inclusive
The System and Ancillary Components shall be compliant with AS/NZS 3820 and any relevant electrical class standards applicable to the system.
