Tender Description

This package includes construction and controls for the execution of two unsealed roads:
1. 3.4km Mine Haul road to support CAT777 Haul truck access to the
Eldo plateau ore body in Gove, NT.
2. 2.6km public bypass road

  • Bulk earthworks
  • Cut to fill
  • Borrow to fill
  • Culverts
  • Rock protection
  • Water management
  • Pavement construction
  • Road signs and markings

Considerations:

  • Environmental controls within riparian zone
  • Indigenous participation/engagement/partnership
  • Sensitive areas; cultural heritage.

Out of Scope:

  • Pavement material production
  • Tree clearing
  • Latrum River culvert installation
  • Haul road windrows and signage

Resources, including fleet and personnel, and methodology to be recommended by the contractor.

Schedule: Haul Road operation to commence Q3 2022.
