The City of Canada Bay Council ("the Council") is responsible for the care and control of the Barnwell Park Golf Course. Council seeks the services of a suitably qualified and experienced service provider to discharge operational and course management functions on its behalf in relation to Barnwell Park Golf Course.

The course is located on the corner of Lyons Road West and William Street, Five Dock and extends to both sides of the road.

The land is situated partly on Council owned Land (Community Land) and partly on Crown Land managed by Council. Accordingly the “Contract” comprises respective licences for the use of the Community and Crown Land and a lease for the operation of the Pro Shop.

The facilities comprise

• 18 hole course and practice green, pro shop and kiosk (Par 61 (Men) – 62 (Women).

• Front and back 9’s separated by Lyons Road West.

• Sealed car park.

• Public amenities.

• Maintenance compound.

The adjacent Barnwell Park Golf Club/Licensed Club is on land the Club leases directly from the Crown and is not under Council’s jurisdiction. The Club has block-booking arrangements with Council for members' competitions which are administrated by the lessee.
