Tender Description
Southern Sydney Regional Organisation of Councils (SSROC) on behalf of its participating member and other Councils invite quotations from suitably qualified consultants for the assessment of risks and benefits of onsite organics processing technologies
This project will engage a consultant to analyse the capacity and costs of a range of leading, proven onsite organics processing technologies for multi-unit dwellings (MUDs) or precincts. The analysis will include processing capacity, output collection needs, buy-back opportunities for outputs, feedstock limitations, licensing, and relevant legislative and regulatory requirements or barriers for onsite processing and application of outputs to land.
The project will include literature review and stakeholder interviews to assess the state of the sector and current and emerging offerings and explore the extent to which onsite technologies suit different housing and mixed-use densities (low, medium and high-rise). An assumptions tables will accompany the presentation of findings.
