Museums and Galleries Queensland is seeking a First Nations Consultant to advise on the integration of the publication First Peoples: A Roadmap for Enhancing Indigenous Engagement in Museums and Galleries into the National Standards for Australian Museums and Galleries 2.0. The National Standards are an industry guideline which provide a holistic framework for successfully operating a cultural organisation.
Knowledge in one or more of the following is preferred:
· Museum and/or gallery sector experience;
· Policy writing;
· Library or archives experience.
The successful tender will manage nationwide consultation to ensure an inclusive approach.
Duration: June - October 2021 (flexible).
Project budget: $15,000, inclusive of consultant's fee, budget for consultation process, and GST if applicable.
