Tender ID: 457578
Tender Details
Tender Description
Goulburn Murray Water’s Mitiamo Pipeline Project plan to undertake a request for tender process to procure a single Contractor to complete the detailed design, supply, installation and commissioning for a new ground - mounted solar photovoltaic (PV) system and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) at the existing Mitiamo Pipeline Pumping station. The site is located at Waranga Western Channel, Tennyson Road, Milloo and will be operational during design and construction of the Solar System.
The system is to be ‘behind the meter’ to primarily supply the existing site electrical loads in parallel with the grid, with the secondary priority being to export electricity to the local network when the solar energy generated exceeds the respective site’s demand. The Contractor is responsible for obtaining final approvals from the DNSP to connect the system to the distribution network, including submission of all forms based on equipment used by the Contractor.
The procurement process will be a single stage request for tender (RFT) process. The RFT is planned to be released to the open market via the Tenders VIC portal at the end of May 2021.
A non-compulsory tenderer briefing and site inspection will be conducted during the open tender stage.
Detailed design is expected to commence in August 2021 with works complete early 2022.
The contract will be based on the terms of the Victorian Public Sector Minor Works Contract.
Please note Tenderers will be required to prepare and submit a Local Industry Participation Plan (LIDP).
