SGW propose to deliver these works in a framework which favours constructability and is geared toward contractor innovation and competitive design.
This project will be delivered in two Phases.
Phase 1 is a competitive design development stage. Two or more contractors will be engaged to develop design to the level of detailed required to prepare a competitive lump sum fee proposal for the design and construction of the Inverloch SPS renewals project. This could be a preliminary design, or something closer to detailed design. The Contractor must be the party to submit tender for Phase 1: Design Development, and not their design partner (where this is a separate organisation).
Phase 2 is the design and construct phase. SGW will engage one contractor for detailed design and construction of the Inverloch SPS Renewals project, with the following documents forming the basis for design:
- The contractors Phase 1 design
- The project Functional Requirements document
- The project Technical Specification
A project briefing meeting is to be held via Microsoft Teams video call on Thursday 3rd June at 10:00am. The purpose for this meeting is to explain the project delivery framework.
Tenderers are asked to register for this meeting by emailing: cedwards@sgwater.com.au and providing their contact details, including company, phone number and the email addresses of any further participants within the organisation.
