Grand Pacific Health (GPH) is a not-for-profit, primary health care organisation - providing locally-tailored, high quality services. Services focus on physical health, mental health, youth health, Aboriginal health & chronic disease management. Grand Pacific Health covers a large portion of South Eastern NSW, Murrumbidgee region and A.C.T., delivering a broad range of programs.
GPH is seeking suitably qualified mental health professionals to provide services on a sessional basis to children, adolescents and families within the Eastern Murrumbidgee region, under the MyStep program. Successful applicants will be required to;
- Provide consumer focussed, short term, goal oriented psychological interventions to vulnerable and disadvantaged adults and/or children and their families requiring primary mental health services
- Provide mental health assessments and interventions according to contemporary evidence based practice and provide reports to relevant stakeholders
- Ensure high quality data is entered into the electronic information management system for all consumers so that minimum data is captured in accordance with funding guidelines
- Ensure family and carer involvement in all aspects of service delivery where possible
- Maintain high standards of file management via the electronic information management system ensuring that accurate clinical notes are recorded and all consumer files are stored in line with legislative requirements and organisational policies and procedures
- Have current AHPRA registration as a Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, Occupational Therapist (accredited in mental health) or Registered Nurse (accredited in mental health) or have accreditation with the AASW as a Mental Health Social Worker.
Services are funded by the Murrumbidgee Primary Health Network (MPHN) and must be delivered at no cost to the client. Services can be provided to individuals or groups.
This position is designated as child-related employment. Relevant criminal history and prior employment checks will be conducted on applicants.
