Wide Open Road Art is currently seeking applications from Artists for July 2021- Feb 2022. Applications close June 15.

Our exhibition space consists of three large glass cabinets (dimensions below) on the corner of Hargraves and Mostyn St, Castlemaine. We are open to a broad range of exhibition ideas including performance and public art installations in which the cabinets may just play a part. Exhibitions run for six weeks. We provide the option of an exhibition opening on the day of installation. WORA runs as a not-for-profit organisation; however we do ask for $50 to assist with insurance and marketing expenses.

Applicants should email approx. 200 words outlining the exhibition concept. Please read our ‘key curatorial concepts’ outlined on our ‘About’ page before applying. We will favour applications which in some way address one or more of these concepts. We also require approx. 5 high quality images of relevant work and any relevant online links to helen@wideopenroadart.com or susie@wideopenroadart.com

Applications are assessed by a panel including all five Wide Open Road Art board members and one rotating assessor.
