Tender Description
Expressions of Interest sought: Cable and/or groundbase/roadlining harvesting package.
Location – Purangi, approximately 40min inland from Inglewood. The Forest is 700ha in size with various age classes, the oldest being 28 years. Harvesting is expected to take 8 years to complete.
Approximately 450ha(225,000t) hauler and 250ha(125,000t) groundbase/roadlining. Roadlining is due to start in late 2021 with a hauler a year later. Ability to harvest entire forest preferred but not necessary. Contractor will be chosen based on their ability to do the job, price, experience and health and safety compliance.
