Tender Description

This is a pre-release notice only to provide advance notice that the tendering of the service categories (proposed at the date of this notice) under the Defence Infrastructure Panel - 2022 - 2027 (Panel) is anticipated to commence in July/August 2021. Any timeframes are indicative and subject to change.

The Panel will replace the existing Defence Infrastructure Panel which is due to expire in January 2022.

Potential tenderers should regularly check AusTender for updates, rather than approaching Defence personnel. All official information about the proposed tender will be published on AusTender in accordance with the Commonwealth Procurement Rules – potential tenderers should not rely on information from other sources.

At the date of this notice, it is proposed that the Panel will comprise panel consultants who may be tasked to provide services across Australia in support of the Commonwealth in the following service categories:

• Aircraft Pavements;

• Aeronautical Ground Lighting;

• Estate Strategic Planning;

• Capital Facilities and Infrastructure Support Services;

• Infrastructure Engineering Assessments;

• Project Management/Contract Administration (including Initial Business Case preparation);

• Property Acquisition and Disposal; and

• Urban Design.
