Construction Skills Queensland (CSQ) is an independent industry-funded body supporting employers, workers, apprentices, trainees and career seekers in the building and construction industry in Queensland. For more information about CSQ please visit our website: www.csq.org.au
This program will assist CSQ to partner with organisations specialising in mental health and suicide prevention initiatives specifically targeted to the Queensland building and construction industry in order to identify and support workers with or at risk of developing mental health issues and to generally improve mental well-being across the industry.
The services delivered by organisations in receipt of Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Program funding will vary dependent on the focus area of each organisation and the identified need and related strategies. The type of programs and services supported may include but are not limited to:
- Mental health awareness training
- Mental health support services
- Counselling services
- Suicide prevention programs
- Identification of risk factors and development of preventative solutions to address risks
- Domestic Violence Awareness
Delivery of services for the Mental Health and Suicide Prevention program under this Invitation-to-offer must be delivered between 01 October 2021 and 30 September 2022.
