AIATSIS manages the Indigenous Research Exchange (IRX) program. A key aspect of the IRX is the development of the Knowledge Exchange Platform (KEP).
The KEP is a digital product that makes Indigenous research findings more accessible, more contestable and more useable. It is intended that the platform will be a well-designed research portal that will make Indigenous policy related data and evidence available to communities, policy-makers and other stakeholders. The platform will also link to other research, including the AIATSIS Mura catalogue and other data repositories.
AIATSIS is seeking strategic design advice to ensure that the KEP is a quality product, incorporating a well designed platform that is user-friendly, engaging and promotes high quality Indigenous research and evidence.
Scope of work includes:
• UI/UX design of KEP with particular consideration of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander users.
• Working with key stakeholders in Indigenous research and data environment to understand user requirements – researching and testing with internal and external groups.
• Provide a human centred design approach with community and culture to create value for users.
