Waste Management NZ Limited is New Zealand's leading waste and environmental services provider, driven by safety, sustainability and service, and underpinned by innovation.
Capabilities include recycling and resource recovery, solid waste management, liquid and hazardous waste collection, treatment and disposal, and the design and operation of many state of the art waste management and recycling facilities nationwide, including producing tyre derived fuel from end of life tyres and the generation of electricity from landfill gas.
WM is calling for Registration of Interest ROI for a Human Resources Management / Information System HRM/IS provider.
Timeline Details
1. Send a confirmation ASAP, that you intend to submit a ROI. Include full contact details of your lead tenderer or General Manager who will be the point of contact for this request. Please include your company web link.
2. Your detailed ROI (Refer A and B sections below) must be submitted no later than Monday 2nd August, 3pm to procurement@wastemanagement.co.nz
3. The review period will be the following week post submission date, followed with a response (approx. Tuesday 10th August) regarding whether your ROI will be going forward to the RFP stage, which will include the signing of a mutually agreed Confidentially Agreement, a detailed pricing module and an agreed presentation date of the services listed below in Section B.2.)

(Strong response content for each request below is limited to four pages (no smaller than Arial 10 and may include evidence in the supporting documentation).
1. Please provide a Scope of HRM/IS deliveries that provide the benefits from having this provider on board.
2. Ability to demonstrate a fully functioning system.
3. User friendly package for 1500 to 2000 employees
4. Ability to integrate with WM's payroll system Datacom and active directory, and also with capability to support information to be directed to Axonify (training), Fieldglass (temp recruitment) and Phoenix (recruitment) platforms.
5. Single sign on capability
6. Having a NZ Support capability
7. Strong reporting capability
8. Preferably a cloud-based solution
9. Two New Zealand case studies of current and long-term contracts with customers of similar size (1500+ Staff) or that have similar national footprints (100 locations)
10. Key Performance Indicators and problem-solving processes in place, should escalations occur.
11. Evidence of strong Cyber Security and compliance with the Privacy Act 2020.
12. Show alignment where possible, to WM's Sustainability business strategy.
WM will not go into any discussions or negotiation with any party at this stage and will notify each respondent if they will be invited to the next stage of RFP. Nothing in this ROI, or any document referred to in this ROI, shall be construed as creating any legal or other obligation between WM and a Respondent in relation to the conduct or outcome of the ROI process. The right is reserved for WM to select individual products or services from a particular proposal.
