Are you a Smart Energy Precinct innovator with the solution to powering residential communities with 100% renewable energy?
At Landcom our mission is to create more affordable and sustainable communities. To further our commitment to enable carbon neutral outcomes across our communities by 2028, Landcom is funding up to five paid pitches of $10,000 each that address the need for Smart Energy Precincts powered by 100% renewable energy.
Our new project of North Wilton, uniquely located amongst some of the most beautiful natural assets in Greater Sydney, is the test case for all pitches. Responses will propose how approximately 200 Torrens Titled residential lots within Stage 1 can achieve our smart precinct goal. See our Frequently Asked Questions below for more information.
Successful pitches will:
- Achieve 100% renewable energy with a Smart Energy Precinct solution;
- Overcome barriers to energy sharing in Torrens Titled communities;
- Propose infrastructure delivery and ownership solutions that do not encumber Landcom or the community;
- Ensure the Smart Energy Precinct solution is scalable and replicable, with potential for future North Wilton stages and other Landcom communities to adopt; and
- Be ready for implementation in 2022.
To be selected as one of five applicants for a paid pitch, you are invited to submit a Capability Statement that addresses a range of Selection Criteria.
